Dr. David Steinberg

Dr. Steinberg earned his medical degree from the UCLA in 1981. He completed an internship in general medicine at UCLA in 1982. From 1983 to 1985 he trained in a Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at the University of California, San Francisco.

He then went on to complete an Interventional & Cardiovascular Fellowship at Alexandra Hospital in Alexandria, VA in 1986. From 1986 to 1988 he was the Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at George Washington University Interventional Radiology Section.

During this time he also held an academic appointment as Chief of Neuro and Interventional Radiology at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Steinberg is certified by the American Board of Radiology. In 1995 he was awarded Added Qualifications in Vascular & Interventional Radiology as well as Neuroradiology by the American Board of Radiology (re-certification awarded in 2005). He is a certified Clinical Densitometrist. He is also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology and a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Nuclear Medicine.

David and his wife Betsi have two children, Ari who is 13 and Elie who is 11. He enjoys fly fishing and spending time with his family.
