Randy Schiffer, M.D.
Dr. Schiffer assumed leadership of the newly established, Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in January of this year. Prior to that, he held the Vernon and Elizabeth Haggerton Chair in Neurology, and served as Chair of the combined Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Science at Texas Tech University. At Texas Tech Dr. Schiffer was Co-Founder, with academic leaders from Baylor, UT Southwestern, and the University of North Texas, of the Texas Alzheimer's Research Consortium, a state wide research initiative to commit public resources to the better understanding of the molecular genetic bases of Alzheimer's disease.
In the early 1990's Dr. Schiffer was Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs of the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester, and Co-PI of the National Institute of Aging funded Alzheimer's Disease Coordinating Center. He has participated in, and led the development of, a variety of clinical trial experiments in the areas of multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, pseudobulbar affect, and depression. He is dually trained and board certified both in psychiatry and in neurology, and has committed his professional career to understanding and treating neural based behavioral disorders.

Maureen E. Peckman
Maureen Peckman is the Chief Emerging Business Officer for Cleveland Clinic Nevada and the Chief Executive Officer for Keep Memory Alive, the support organization for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also leads a community-based organization, the Council for a Better Nevada, an organization comprising Nevada’s leading CEOs and industry leaders whose purpose is to engage private, public and non-profit sector resources to positively impact Nevada issues of critical community interest. Ms. Peckman is a member of the Nevada Commission on Homeland Security, whose mission is to advise the governor on matters pertaining to the prevention, mitigation and response to terrorism-related events. Maureen is an active member of the Chairman’s Council for Conservation International, an international conservation organization with a presence in 150 countries and whose purpose is to pursue global conservation. She also serves as a member of the Harvard Women’s Leadership Board. Locally, Maureen serves on the Agassi Charter Academy school board, Agassi Foundation and the Agassi Graf Holdings board, and is Chairman of the Nevada Community Foundation. Ms. Peckman graduated from the George Washington University in Washington D.C., where she pursued her undergraduate degree (B.S. in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology) on a soccer scholarship. Past pursuits include competing in the Hawaii Ironman world championships, competitive cycling and ultra distance marathons. Maureen has lived in Las Vegas since 1999 and is married with a daughter.

Lisa Manning
Lisa Manning is the Chief Operations Officer for Keep Memory Alive, and is responsible for all facets of the organization’s daily operations and financial functions. She has over 20 years of experience in business and financial management. Lisa has served the Las Vegas community as a business and financial consultant since 1997 across a variety of industries ranging from construction and real estate to medical and non-profit. She currently serves as a member of the board of the Downtown Las Vegas Alliance. Prior to joining Keep Memory Alive, Lisa was the Chief Financial Officer for a major Las Vegas-based real estate development company.
Lisa has been a licensed CPA since 1992. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington, and has two children. Outside of the office, she has played tennis competitively as part of the Nevada Tennis Association.
