Until there is a cure, there is a caregiver.
Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health provides a complete continuum of care for patients with Alzheimer's, Huntington's and Parkinson's disease, frontotemporal dementia, multiple sclerosis and multiple system atrophy. Our comprehensive approach to care extends far beyond what most patients or family members might expect.
At the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, our programs are designed so that our healthcare providers collaborate across specialties and develop a treatment plan that takes into account the needs of patients and their families. A Patient and Caregiver program supports quality of life for all who are affected when brain disorders strike a family member. To complement treatment, when appropriate, patients are offered an opportunity to access the newest drug treatments via participation in clinical trials.
All of the center's services are provided on-site on an outpatient basis and include:
- Diagnostic evaluation
- Memory testing and neuropsychological testing
- Brain imaging
- Imaging (non-neurologic)
- Clinical trials
- Physical and occupational therapy
- Cognitive rehabilitation
- Individual and family support services and education
- Referral to other specialty services throughout the Cleveland Clinic Health system
