Patients and family members often want to learn more about the particular illness they are facing, including what to expect over the course of the disease, treatment options and how best to provide care and support. It's extremely important to have access to reliable information from a trusted source. Our lending library is staffed by volunteers who are familiar with our materials and are trained to listen carefully to each visitor. We strive to create a welcoming environment for individuals to visit as often as is helpful and to build their knowledge and coping skills. The library is open to the public.
With over 1500 cataloged books, audiotapes and pamphlets, our library is an excellent resource for anyone who is interested in learning more about brain health and specific diseases, including Alzheimer's, frontotemporal dementia, Huntington's, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's.
