A sampling of past programs:
Caregiver Business Summit
In February 2011, Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health hosted the Caregiver Business Summit to focus on an issue directly impacting the business community: the financial impact on organizations due to employees who are caregivers. There was an impressive array of speakers, including keynotes:
- Representative Edward Markey, Massachusetts 7th Congressional District and Founder and Co-Chair of the Congressional Task Force on Alzheimer's
- Chris Matthews, Host of MSNBC's Hardball and The Chris Matthews Show
For more information on the Caregiver Business Summit and issues related to caregiving in the workplace, please contact Susan Hirsch, MSW, LSW, Director of Social Services, at 702.483.6023 or hirschs2@ccf.org.
Caregiver Collage
Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health is proud to be a founding partner in the creation of Caregiver Collage, an original piece of theater written by Douglas Hill. Performed in reader's theater style, it brings to life with empathy, compassion and humor many of the situations and feelings experienced by caregivers. Caregiver Collage has been performed with rave reviews at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the Aging in America 2012 National Conference. Watch the program calendar for an announcement of the next live performance.
