Patients and family members often feel isolated by their condition or circumstances. Under the guidance of a trained professional, support group participants can share experiences, discuss coping strategies, and increase knowledge of disease-related topics. They also offer support and encouragement to each other.

Current support groups at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health:
- All support groups are open to the community and are offered free of charge.
- Individuals are welcome to drop in; no reservation is needed.
