Free Balance Testing & Fall Risk Screening
Are you fearful of falling? Have you been stumbling lately? Join us for Free Balance Testing and Fall Risk Screening on Wednesday, September 24.
Falls are not a normal part of aging and most can be prevented. You have the power to reduce your risk.
In recognition of National Fall Prevention Awareness Week, Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health is offering a Fall Risk Screening. It’s free and open to the public. Come have your balance checked by licensed physical therapists and learn ways to decrease your risk.
WHO: Open to all who wish to have their balance evaluated
Evaluations will be conducted using the STEADI questionnaire and balance tests, which are part of the Center for Disease Control’s physician toolkit for fall risk assessment.
COST: Free of charge

Participants will receive:
- A copy of their assessment to share with their primary care provider
- Information on free classes, which begin in October, run for seven weeks, and are aimed at reducing fall risk.
