Texas Hold ‘em Charity Poker Tournament
Go All In For Memories
On Sept. 21, Keep Memory Alive hosted the inaugural Texas Hold ‘em Charity Poker Tournament at the stunning Keep Memory Alive Event Center. Hosted by casino legend Jack Binion, the event raised funds and brought awareness for the patients and caregivers at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
With their $500 buy-in, guests took their chance at the poker tables, roulette wheel and silent auction alongside notable guests Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson, Barry Shuluman, Jack McClelland and Jon Taffer. In the end, Gary Kapral walked away as the first-place winner with $10,000. The runners-up didn’t leave empty-handed as they took home some incredible prizes including exclusive chef dinners, fantastic trips, exquisite jewelry and first-class wine.
Throughout the event, guests sipped on spectacular wine and specialty cocktails, while indulging on dishes by Clique Hospitality and enjoying music by Michael Shulman. Guests were able to brush up on their skills with a tutorial before the actual tournament started. Before they kick-offed the tournament, Camille and Larry Ruvo presented Jack Binion with a model of the Frank Gehry model playhouse to thank him for his contributions to Keep Memory Alive.
